§ 10.1-418.8. Hughes State Scenic River.

The Hughes River in Culpeper, Madison, and Rappahannock Counties from theShenandoah National Park line in Madison County to its confluence with theHazel River, a distance of approximately 10 miles, is hereby designated acomponent of the Virginia Scenic Rivers System. Nothing in this section shallpreclude the Commonwealth or a local governing body from constructing,reconstructing, or performing necessary maintenance on any road or bridge.
