§ 10.1-527. Determination of candidates elected.

If the district embraces one county or city, or less than one county or city,the three candidates who receive the largest number of the votes cast in theelection shall be elected directors for the district.

If the district embraces more than one county or city, or parts thereof, thetwo candidates from each county or city, or part thereof, receiving thelargest number of the votes cast in the election shall be the electeddirectors for the district.
