§ 10.1-619. Consideration of results of referendum; simple majority voterequired.

The results of the referendum shall be considered by the district directorsin determining whether the operation of the proposed watershed improvementdistrict is administratively practicable and feasible. The district directorsshall not be authorized to determine that operation of the proposed watershedimprovement district is administratively practicable and feasible unless asimple majority of the votes cast in the referendum have been cast in favorof the creation of the watershed improvement district.
