§ 15.2-1232.1. Auctions; pawnshops; secondhand dealers; peddling; fraud anddeceit in sales; weights and measures.

A county may regulate the sale of property at auction; may regulate theconduct of and prescribe the number of pawnshops and dealers in secondhandgoods, wares and merchandise; may regulate or prohibit peddling; may preventfraud or deceit in the sale of property; may require weighing, measuring,gauging and inspection of goods, wares and merchandise offered for sale; andmay provide for the sealing of weights and measures and the inspection andtesting thereof.
