§ 15.2-1740. Certain special police officers not employees of Commonwealth orlocality.

No police officer appointed under § 15.2-1737 who is otherwise regularlyemployed and whose duties as police officer are merely incidental to suchprivate employment shall be deemed to be an employee of the Commonwealth orlocality within the meaning of the Virginia Workers' Compensation Act (§65.2-100 et seq.).
