§ 15.2-1746. Duty of district judge; may bind to good behavior, etc.

In all cases arising under § 15.2-1745, the district judge before whom theperson so arrested is brought shall examine the case and dispose of itaccording to law. If he thinks the person so apprehended ought to enter intoa recognizance to keep the peace and be of good behavior, he shall requirehim to do so, and in default thereof such person may be committed to jail.
