§ 15.2-2021. Ramps on curbs of certain streets; specifications.

Notwithstanding the provisions of § 15.2-2000 A, every locality requiringcurbs along its streets that incorporate accessible routes for pedestrianuse, such as existing or proposed sidewalks, shall require that curb ramps beconstructed at intersections for use by persons with mobility impairments.The ramps shall comply with the Virginia Department of Transportation's Roadand Bridge Standards. Local option, variance, or waiver of these standards isprohibited.
