§ 15.2-5119. Power to provide and operate electric energy systems.
Notwithstanding any contrary provision of law in this chapter, an authorityoperating a water supply impoundment facility may, in connection with suchfacility, generate, produce, transmit, deliver, exchange, purchase or sellelectric power and energy at wholesale and enter into contracts for suchpurposes.
