§ 15.2-5323. Study and investigation concerning plan.

An authority shall have power to investigate hospital, medical and healthconditions and the means and methods of improving such conditions; todetermine where inadequate hospital and medical facilities exist; to studyand make recommendations concerning the plan of any city in relation to theproblem of providing adequate hospital, medical and nursing facilities; andto provide adequate hospital, medical and nursing facilities for theinhabitants of such city and surrounding area, including persons of lowincome in such city and area.
