§ 15.2-723. Grievances by police officers.

In any county for which a trial board for police officers is provided bystate statute, police officers may elect the remedy provided by Chapter 5 (§9.1-500 et seq.) of Title 9.1 in lieu of appealing to the trial board, butsuch election shall bar the right of appeal to the trial board or the rightto employ any other grievance procedure with regard to the matters for whichthe provisions of such chapter are involved.
