Any locality may by ordinance require that any or all of its agencies,departments, authorities, committees, instrumentalities, or politicalsubdivisions participate in one or more unified or centralized systems forgeographic information, mapping, surveying, or land information. Theordinance may establish such conditions as may be necessary to develop,maintain, and operate any such system for geographic information, mapping,surveying, or land information.
