§ 16.1-231. Rules of procedure.

The chief judge may adopt and publish rules not in violation of law or inconflict with rules adopted pursuant to Chapter 4.1 (§ 16.1-69.1 et seq.) ofthis title to regulate the conduct of the clerks and employees of the court,which rules shall be construed and enforced liberally in furtherance of theremedial purposes of this chapter. Insofar as is practicable all such recordsand rules shall be uniform throughout the Commonwealth.
