§ 16.1-69.47:1. Travel expenses of judges and clerks; how paid.

Any judge or clerk traveling more than five miles from the courthouse in thecity or county in which he resides on court business shall be entitled toreimbursement by the Commonwealth for such of his actual expenses as arenecessarily and ordinarily incidental to such travel. If conveyance is bypublic transportation, reimbursement shall be at the actual cost thereof. Ifconveyance is by private transportation, reimbursement shall be at the rateestablished for members of the General Assembly.
