Statutes > Virginia > Title-17-1 > Chapter-1 > 17-1-119§ 17.1-119. Courts may adjourn for a period not exceeding thirty days.
Any court of record may at any term, whether regular or special, adjourn fromtime to time for a period not exceeding thirty days until the business beforeit is dispatched, or until the end of its term. The judge of the court shall,during the period of such adjournment, have the power and authority to holdregular or special terms at any other place as if there had been a finaladjournment of such term.
