§ 17.1-220. Duplicate certificate of allowance prohibited, unless ordered bycourt.

Upon proof by the oath of a party or otherwise of the loss or destruction ofan original certificate of any allowance to be paid out of the statetreasury, the court shall order a duplicate which shall show on its face thatit is a duplicate issued by order of the court.
