§ 17.1-244. Books, etc., in clerks' offices rebound, transcribed, microfilmedor digitally reproduced; credit given to transcripts, etc.

Any court of record or, if so designated by the judge, the clerk thereof maycause any of the books or records in the clerk's office which may be in needthereof to be rebound, transcribed, microfilmed or digitally reproduced. Thesame faith and credit shall be given to such transcript or reproductions fromthe microfilm or digitally reproduced record as the book or recordtranscribed would have been entitled to.
