§ 18.2-107. Theft or destruction of public records by others than officers.

If any person steal or fraudulently secrete or destroy a public record orpart thereof, including a microphotographic copy thereof, he shall, if theoffense be not embraced by § 18.2-472 be guilty of a Class 6 felony.
