§ 19.2-8.1. Prosecution for murder or manslaughter; passage of time not alimitation.
A prosecution for murder or manslaughter, whether at common law or under theCode of Virginia, may be instituted regardless of the time elapsed betweenthe act or omission causing the death of the victim and the death of thevictim.
