§ 19.2-189. Commitment of accused for further examination.

If the accused be committed, it shall be by an order of the judge statingthat he is committed for further examination on a day specified in the order.And on that day he may be brought before such judge by his verbal order tothe officer by whom he was committed, or by a written order to a differentperson.
