§ 19.2-309. Sentence of confinement for conviction of a combination of felonyand misdemeanor offenses.

When any person is convicted of a combination of felony and misdemeanoroffenses and sentenced to confinement therefor, in determining the sequenceof confinement, the felony sentence and commitment shall take precedence andsuch person shall first be committed to serve the felony sentence.
