§ 2.2-2616. Disposition of moneys and property received.

All moneys received by the Council shall be paid into the state treasury andsegregated as a special fund to be used by the Council to carry out thepurposes of this article. All other property, tangible or intangible, whichis acquired by the Council shall become the property of the Commonwealth uponsuch acquisition. Such other intangible property may be held in the name of anominee to facilitate its sale or exchange by the Council, and such othertangible property may be sold or exchanged by the Council as agent for theCommonwealth notwithstanding any other provision of law concerning the saleor exchange of property of the Commonwealth.
