The second full week of April of each year shall be designated as LandscapeArchitecture Week in Virginia in recognition of the value and importance ofthe profession of landscape architecture, which encourages environmentalstewardship, promotes energy conservation, enhances the preservation of theCommonwealth's historical heritage, and ensures that the place known asVirginia is preserved through wise design, management, and maintenance of itslandscape.
