§ 20-14.2. Health information to be furnished to applicants for license.

Every person who is empowered to issue a marriage license shall, at the timeof issuance thereof, distribute the following to the applicants for thelicense: birth control information, information concerning the role of folicacid in the prevention of genetic disorders, information concerning birthdefects, information concerning acquired immunodeficiency syndrome and theavailable tests to determine the presence or absence of the disease, and alist of family planning clinics located in the county or city of the issuingoffice. Such lists and information shall be furnished by the Virginia StateDepartment of Health.
