§ 21-359. Highway affected.

Where any public ditch, drain or watercourse established under the provisionsof this chapter crosses a public highway, the Department of Transportationshall provide bridges or culverts of adequate capacity to permit the freeflow of water. The landowners in the drainage project shall bear theexcavation cost for such structures.

Any government installation whether federal, state, county, city or town withrunoff or acres draining into such a watershed area will be considered alandowner and shall be assessed on an acreage basis for drainage at the samerate as any other landowner.
