§ 22.1-280.4. School board action regarding destruction of property.

A school board may take action against a pupil or the pupil's parent for anyactual loss, breakage, or destruction of or failure to return property, ownedby or under the control of the school board, caused or committed by suchpupil in pursuit of his studies. Such action may include seekingreimbursement from a pupil or the pupil's parent for any such loss, breakage,or destruction of or failure to return school property.
