Every division superintendent, before entering upon the duties of office,shall take and subscribe the oath prescribed for an officer of thisCommonwealth as provided in Chapter 1 (§ 49-1 et seq.) of Title 49 of thisCode, and a certificate of the clerk of the court in which the oath isadministered setting forth the qualification and its record shall befurnished the Superintendent of Public Instruction.
