§ 23-4. Register of state property.

The chief officer of every state institution shall keep a book in which heshall cause to be registered all the property of the Commonwealth at suchinstitution, with a correct description thereof, for the information of theboard of visitors, and others interested. Any officer failing to comply withthis section shall forfeit fifty dollars.
