§ 23-146. Practical training aboard ship.

The authorities of the Institute shall, moreover, make provision for thenecessary practical training aboard ship or ships of students attending thenautical school in the science of navigation, seamanship and engineering andsuch other subjects as may be prescribed, and no student shall be received inthe school until such provision has been made, nor shall any student begraduated from the school who has not had such practical training in theseand in such other subjects as may be prescribed.
