The Museum shall be governed by a board of trustees, consisting of fifteenmembers, each of whom shall be appointed by the Governor. One of the membersappointed to the board shall be a member of the Virginia Academy of Science.The appointments shall be subject to confirmation by the General Assembly ifin session and, if not, then at its next succeeding session. The board oftrustees will hereinafter in this chapter be referred to as the "board."
