§ 24.2-630. Experimental use of approved systems.

With the approval of the State Board, the governing body of any county, city,or town may provide for the experimental use at an election in one or moreelection districts or precincts of a voting or counting system which it mightlegally adopt without a formal adoption thereof, and its use at such electionshall be valid for all purposes.
