§ 24.2-635. Demonstration of equipment.

In each county, city, or town in which voting or counting equipment is to beused, the electoral board may designate times and places for the exhibitionof equipment containing sample ballots, showing the title of offices to befilled, and, so far as practicable, the names of the candidates to be votedfor at the next election for the purpose of informing voters who requestinstruction on the use of the equipment. No equipment shall be used for suchinstruction after being prepared and sealed for use in any election. Duringexhibitions, the counting mechanism, if any, of the equipment may beconcealed from view.
