Statutes > Virginia > Title-28-2 > Chapter-4 > 28-2-411§ 28.2-411. Season for vessels of less than seventy gross tons; penalty.
Except from the first Monday in March to, but not including, the first Mondayin May, it is unlawful for vessels with a gross weight of less than seventytons to use purse nets to take or catch menhaden for purposes other than useas fish meal or oil.
A violation of this section is a Class 1 misdemeanor.
