§ 28.2-604. Eligible applicants.

Application for assignment of general oyster-planting ground may be made by(i) any resident of the Commonwealth, (ii) any county, municipality, orpolitical subdivision of the Commonwealth, or (iii) any firm, or corporationchartered under the laws of this Commonwealth for the purpose of oysterculture and the oyster business provided that at least sixty percent of thestock of any such corporation is wholly owned by residents of theCommonwealth.
