§ 3.2-2109. Referenda results; action of Governor.

If the Governor finds the referendum in order and that at least a simplemajority of those voting are in opposition to the continuation of SheepIndustry Board and the assessment for the purpose of conducting programs inmarket development, predator control, education, research, and promotion ofthe sheep industry, he shall so proclaim and upon such proclamation the SheepIndustry Board and the assessment shall be discontinued. If the Governorfinds that at least a simple majority of those voting are in favor of thecontinuation of the Sheep Industry Board and the assessment, he shall not soproclaim.
