§ 3.2-2209. Referenda results; action of Governor.

If the Governor finds any referendum in order and that at least a simplemajority of those voting are in opposition to the continuation of theassessment on small grains, he shall so proclaim and upon such proclamationthe assessment on small grains will be discontinued. If the Governor findsthat at least a simple majority of those voting are in favor of thecontinuation of the assessment on small grains, the Governor shall not soproclaim.
