§ 3.2-4772. Certificate establishing condition, quality, grade to befurnished.

Every cotton gin shall, at the time of ginning, obtain a sample of each baleof ginned cotton for the purpose of determining condition, quality, andgrade. Unless such sample is graded by the U.S. Department of Agriculture,the burden of proof shall be on the cotton gin to prove the accuracy of itsaccounting as to any transaction that may be questioned by the consignor orthe Commissioner, relating to condition, quality or grade of ginned cotton.
