The Commission on Electric Utility Restructuring established pursuant toChapter 885 of the Acts of Assembly of 2003, is continued, effective July 1,2008, as the Commission on Electric Utility Regulation (the Commission)within the legislative branch of state government. The purpose of theCommission is to monitor the State Corporation Commission's implementation ofthe Virginia Electric Utility Regulation Act (§ 56-576 et seq.).
