§ 31-56. Termination of custodianship.

The custodian shall transfer the custodial property to the minor or to theminor's estate in an appropriate manner upon the earlier of:

1. The minor's attainment of eighteen years of age or if the transfer wasmade as provided in subsection D of § 31-45, the minor's attainment oftwenty-one years of age; or

2. The minor's death.
