§ 38.2-229. Immunity from liability.

A. There shall be no liability on the part of and no cause of action againstany person for furnishing in good faith to the Commission informationrelating to the investigation of any insurance or reinsurance transactionwhen such information is furnished under the requirements of law or at therequest or direction of the Commission.

B. There shall be no liability on the part of and no cause of action againstthe Commission, the Commissioner of Insurance, or any of the Commission'semployees or agents, acting in good faith, for investigating any insurance orreinsurance transaction or for the dissemination of any official reportrelated to an official investigation of any insurance or reinsurancetransaction.
