§ 38.2-4132. Licensing of agents.

A. Agents of societies shall be licensed as life and health agents inaccordance with Chapter 18 (§ 38.2-1800 et seq.) of this title regulating thelicensing, revocation, suspension or termination of licenses of resident andnonresident agents.

B. No examination or license shall be required of any regular salariedofficer, employee or member of a licensed society who devotes substantiallyall of his or her services to activities other than the solicitation offraternal insurance contracts from the public, and who receives for thesolicitation of such contracts no commission or other compensation directlydependent upon the amount of business obtained.
