§ 38.2-4318. License renewals.

A. Each health maintenance organization licensed under this chapter shallrenew its license with the Commission annually by July 1. The renewal licenseshall not be issued until the health maintenance organization has paid allfees and charges imposed on it and has complied with all other requirementsof law.

B. The Commission shall not fail or refuse to renew the license of any healthmaintenance organization without first giving the health maintenanceorganization ten days' notice of its intention not to renew the license andgiving it an opportunity to be heard and to introduce evidence on its behalf.Any such hearing may be informal. The required notice may be waived by theCommission and the health maintenance organization.
