§ 42.1-73. Concealment of book or other property while on premises oflibrary; removal of book or other property from library.

Whoever, without authority, with the intention of converting to his own oranother's use, willfully conceals a book or other library property, whilestill on the premises of such library, or willfully or without authorityremoves any book or other property from any of the above libraries orcollections shall be deemed guilty of larceny thereof, and upon convictionthereof shall be punished as provided by law. Proof of the willfulconcealment of such book or other library property while still on thepremises of such library shall be prima facie evidence of intent to commitlarceny thereof.
