§ 44-123. Armory Commission abolished; duties, powers and propertiestransferred.

The Armory Commission of Virginia heretofore created and existing is herebyabolished. All the duties and powers heretofore imposed upon and exercised bythe Armory Commission are hereby transferred to and imposed upon theDepartment of Military Affairs as hereinafter provided. Any property, real orpersonal held by the Armory Commission of Virginia in its corporate name ishereby transferred to the Department of Military Affairs to be held, managed,and maintained by that Department in the name of the Commonwealth of Virginiaas provided by law.
