§ 45.1-161.103. Additional coal mining training programs.

The Chief is authorized to implement a voluntary on-site safety awarenesstraining program for coal mines. Such training may be conducted by a mineinspector in conjunction with his inspection of a coal mine or otherDepartment personnel. Safety awareness training for coal miners may includesuch methods as job safety analysis and topical talks on safety issues toreduce accidents.
