§ 46.2-1305. Regulation of vehicular and pedestrian traffic on roadways andparking areas in residential subdivisions.

The governing body of any county, city, or town which has adopted ordinancesunder the provisions of Chapter 22 (§ 15.2-2200 et seq.) of Title 15.2, mayrequire as a part of such land use regulations for residential subdivisionsemploying roadways and parking areas not in public ownership, the posting andmaintenance of signs or other appropriate markings regulating the operationand parking of motor vehicles and pedestrian traffic, and may adoptordinances applying the regulations to existing and future residentialsubdivisions.
