§ 46.2-1704. Action on applications; hearing on denial.

The Commissioner shall act on any application for a license under thischapter within thirty days after receipt by either granting or denying theapplication. Any applicant denied a license shall, on his written requestmade within thirty days, be given a hearing at a time and place determined bythe Commissioner or his designee. All hearings under this section shall bepublic and shall be held promptly. The applicant may be represented bycounsel. Any applicant denied a license may not apply again for a licensefor thirty days from the date of denial of the application.
