§ 46.2-1706. Civil penalties.

In addition to any other sanctions or remedies available to the Commissionerunder this chapter, the Commissioner may assess a civil penalty not to exceed$1,000 for any violation of any provision of this chapter or any regulationpromulgated thereunder. The penalty may be sued for and recovered in thename of the Commonwealth.
