Each motor carrier shall be issued an identification marker unless theoperation is interstate in nature and the carrier has been issued a singlestate registration receipt by the Department or other qualified jurisdiction.The identification marker shall be displayed on each vehicle as prescribed bythe Department and shall be valid for the period of time prescribed by theDepartment.
