§ 46.2-422. Suspension on failure to pay installments.

If the judgment debtor fails to pay any installment as permitted by the orderof the court, then on notice of default, the Commissioner shall forthwithsuspend the driver's license, registration cards, and license plates of thejudgment debtor until the judgment is satisfied as provided in this chapter.The judgment debtor may apply, after due notice to the judgment creditor, tothe court which allowed installment payment of the judgment, within thirtydays after the default, for resumption of the privilege of paying thejudgment in installments, if past-due installments are first paid.
