§ 47.1-29.1. Wrongful possession of software or hardware.

Any person who knowingly obtains, conceals, damages, or destroys thecertificate, disk, coding, card, program, software, or hardware enabling anelectronic notary to affix an official electronic signature or seal, withoutauthority, shall be guilty of a Class 1 misdemeanor.
